Beginner Building Guides
These Towers are particularly straightforward in how to build them and how easy it is to recover from a difficult start or hard waves.
Tier 1
Blood Orc Warriors are pretty good on most waves and at 100g each are very easy to build more if you are struggling to hold waves. No huge weaknesses. Wolverines are particularly good at every wave with their Chaos damage.
Revenants are glass cannons, but only require a small amount of tanks in front to get a lot of work done very fast.
Skeletors have a mass buff, in other words, the more you build the stronger they all become. They are relatively good on all levels and only cost 105g each making it easy to build more when you are struggling.
Tier 2
These are good at clearing masses of units with their splash attacks, making them good at almost all waves except boss waves. At 50g each they are extremely easy to build more.
Elite Archers are extremely strong on almost every wave before 10, and cost 210g each. Slightly harder to build more when you are behind but each one makes a large impact.
Combining Pyros and Zeuses gives a very well-rounded army of tanks and DPS with few weak waves. 230g Pyro and 215g Zeus makes them tricky if you fall behind.
Clockwrecks are extremely durable and have pretty good success even as the only Tower in the army of clearing waves. Good addition to any lineup that needs a tank and can be spammed if no other good Towers are available. 170g each means they are pretty easy to get more when you are behind.
Tier 3
These are good at killing masses of units and only cost 90g each. They can be flimsy, so building tanks will vastly improve their performance on their harder waves.
Tier 4
These are very durable Towers for 125g and with their ranged Chaos attacks do well on almost every wave. They make great tanks for glass cannons but do quite well even as the only Tower in your army.
Tier 5
A very snowball-style Tower, once you get the ball rolling with Goblin Blasters it will be hard to stop. Can be vulnerable early on, especially if you are prevented from getting to a critical mass. 180g for the base Tower but 220g for the very important upgrade makes these towers challenging, though rewarding.
Tier 6
Nearly unbeatable on the first two Waves, making this a very safe choice for a first Tower. Not many weak waves and quite strong on boss waves when upgraded to Hades. Can be tricky if you build too many Wisps and prevent yourself from getting the second and third Lord of Death in time, since they are 300g each so some planning and care is required.
Very strong on all Land Melee Waves, with a strong upgrade for both Ranged and Flying waves, this Tower is quite versatile and safe to build early.
