As a new player, it will usually be recommended to play as a YOLO lane. This means you will have a high amount of wisps and will aim to just barely hold most waves, and any leaks will feed your Holder.

Where to build

With very few exceptions, it is always correct to build your towers next to a wall. This provides the best chance that your tower won't get surrounded, so you will reduce the amount of damage you take. Additionally, towers are normally built in a diagonal formation, providing a good damage-share among all your towers. It's usually preferable to let your towers die together slowly rather than one by one quickly, as this maintains higher DPS for a longer time.

Aqua Spirits

Aquas are one of the most basic towers in the game. They do a very good job for a YOLO player at providing solid early game power and giving you a lot of extra money to push with.
